Garden Styles

In California, people live outdoors as much as indoors. Garden architecture has always been an important element in completing the environment surrounding the house. Much of the architecture of the early 20th century focused on nature, just as putting vinyl windows and doors devalues the spirit of the architecture so too does the use of vinyl on gates and fences. Using Philippine mahogany, cedar, and heart redwood with natural oil finishes can provide long lasting value and quality, adding to rather than distracting from the home.

Garden architecture, such as sculpture, trellises, and obelisks can be produced in all shapes, size, and styles, and with varying types of materials, many of them recycled. William enjoys creating unusual garden art using recycled wood, fossils and rocks, and donating them to non-profit fundraising auctions.
